Group exhibitions include a juried show at Stockton State College, Pomona, New Jersey, 1975; a group show at the SUB Gallery, the University of Alberta, Edmonton, 1977; and The Fine Art of Alberta Craft, the XI Commonwealth Games, Edmonton, 1978. Mott's sculptures are usually multimedia constructions of wood, rope, metal, and clay. Craftsmanship is stressed in all pieces, and the work often has a humorous element. The pieces are usually very complex, and the time span between the generation of the idea and its realization can be up to several months.

Since 1969 Karvonen has been instructing weaving throughout the province and has been instrumental in the founding of the Hand Weavers, Spinners, and Dyers of Alberta and the Strathcona County Weavers. P She has received several awards, including a Government of Alberta grant to attend the World Crafts Council in Ixtepec, Mexico, 1976. She has participated in over twenty group exhibitions since 1971. Karvonen experiments with a variety of materials. She uses both Finnish and Canadian yarns, including Alberta fleece.

" Hall paints with acrylic on canvas, and the scale of his work ranges from 183 cm x 183 cm to very large sectional canvases.
